ENROUTE TO THE MOON: CREATING A MORE RESILIENT CIVIL SPACE ARCHITECTURE (CSIS), Jan 18, 2018, DC, 10:00-5:00 ET (webcast)

(preceded by a speech on national security by House Speaker Paul Ryan at 8:30 am)

The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) will hold a one-day seminar on January 18, 2018 from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm ET at 1616 Rhode Island Ave., NW, Washington, DC, on “Enroute to the Moon: Creating a More Resilient Civil Space Architecture.”

The event will be livestreamed.

The save-the-date announcement listed the start time as 9:00 am ET, but that has been changed to 10:00 am ET because CSIS is hosting a talk by House Speaker Paul Ryan on national security at 8:30 am ET.  Anyone planning to attend the conference is invited to attend the Ryan speech first.  Registration for the seminar will be honored for both events.  For those planning to attend only the seminar, registration opens at 9:30 am ET.

Speakers include Acting NASA Administrator Robert Lightfoot and NASA Associate Administrator for Human Exploration and Operations Bill Gerstenmaier, along with others from NASA, NOAA, academia, non-profits, and industry.

The agenda for this seminar, information about Speaker Ryan’s talk, and registration information are posted on the event’s website.
