ESA BRIEFING ON THE JAMES WEBB SPACE TELESCOPE (JWST), June 1, 2021, virtual, 9:00 am ET

The European Space Agency (ESA) will hold a virtual media briefing on June 1, 2021 at 15:00 Central European Summer Time (9:00 am Eastern Daylight Time) to discuss Europe’s role in the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) along with NASA and the Canadian Space Agency.

ESA is contributing two of the four science instruments on JWST and will launch it on an Arianespace Ariane 5 rocket from Arianespace’s launch site in French Guiana.

Briefing participants are:

    Topics: Mission and Launch campaign preparations
