ESA will hold pre-launch briefings for the launch of the Meteosat Third Generation (MTG) Imager weather satellite, MTG-I2. This is the second MTG-Imager for Eumetsat. An MTG-Sounder is also already in orbit.
The launch on an Ariane 6 is scheduled for August 27. This will be Ariane 6’s first geostationary launch.
The briefings are on August 19 in three languages:
- English, 14:00-15:00 Central European Summer Time (CEST, subtract 6 hours for EDT)
- French, 15:00-16:00 CEST
- German, 16:00-17:00 CEST
