Update, March 11: This briefing will still take place, but now will be from Paris not Moscow and only ESA Director General Woerner will speak. This change is due to the coronovirus outbreak that is making international travel quite hazardous.
Original Entry: The European Space Agency (ESA) and Russia’s space state corporation Roscosmos will hold a briefing on March 12, 2020 at 12:00 pm Central European Time (7:00 am Eastern Daylight Time) to discuss the status of their ExoMars spacecraft, which is scheduled to launch to Mars this summer but has encountered problems with its parachutes.
The briefing will be webcast on ESA’s website.
