ESA SENTINEL-1D PRE-LAUNCH BFG, Oct 30, 2025, Paris/online, 3:30 am ET

ESA, Thales Alenia Space, and Arianespace will hold briefings in several languages on October 29 and October 30, 2025 in advance of the launch of Sentinel-1D.

The English-language briefing is on October 30 from 8:30-9:30 am Central European Time (CET, which is 3:30-4:30 am Eastern DAYLIGHT Time).  The full list is on ESA’s website.  ESA briefings often are broadcast on ESA’s Web TV channel, although this announcement doesn’t say so.

Sentinel-1D is part of the European Union’s Copernicus Earth observation initiative.  Launch on an Ariane 6 from Kourou, French Guiana is planned for November 4 at 22:02 CET (21:02 GMT, 4:02 pm Eastern STANDARD Time).
