FAA ISSUES ENVIRONMENTAL ASSESSMENT FOR STARSHIP/SUPER HEAVY, June 13, 2022

The FAA will issue the Final Programmatic Environmental Assessment for SpaceX’s effort to increase launch activity at its Starbase location in Boca Chica, TX to launch its Starship/Super Heavy space transportation system.  The FAA has been leading an interagency review including a public comment period for many months. The release of the final assessment has been postponed several times, but on May 31 the agency said it will issue the FPEA on June 13.
