Fast Space: Rethinking Space Access (AFA), May 2017, DC

The Air Force Association’s (AFA’s) Mitchell Institute will hold a discussion on May 8, 2017 in Room 212/210 of the Capitol Visitor Center, Senate side (SVC 212/210), from 9:30-10:30 am ET on ‘Fast Space: Rethinking Space Access.”  Air University recently published a report on Ultra Low Cost Access to Space (ULCATS) and the speakers were involved in that report.

Pre-registration is required.  Speakers are:

  • Maj. Gen. Peter Gersten, USAF, Director of Strategic Plans, Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Strategic Plans and Requirements
  • Hoyt Davidson, Founder and Managing Partner, Near Earth, LLC

  • Lt. Col. Thomas Schilling, USAF, Chief of the Commander’s Action Group, Air University
