February 15, 2021 (Federal Holiday)

February 15, 2021 is a Federal holiday in the United States.  The Office of Personnel Management (OPM) refers to it as Washington’s Birthday, a holiday that recognizes the birthday of our first President, George Washington, although his birthday actually is on February 22.  Others refer to it as President’s Day, since it also is close to the February 12 birthday of President Abraham Lincoln, but the Washington’s Birthday designation is set in law.

Government offices and many businesses will be closed.
