FIREFLY’S BLUE GHOST MISSION 1 LANDS ON MOON, Mar 2, 2025, The Moon, 3:34 am ET (livestream begins 2:20 am ET)

Update, March 1: The landing time has moved forward to 3:34 am ET and NASA+ coverage will begin 10 minutes earlier at 2:20 am ET.

Original Entry: Firefly’s Blue Ghost Mission 1 will land on the Moon on March 2, 2025 at 2:45 am CENTRAL Time (3:45 am Eastern).

NASA and Firefly will livestream the landing beginning 75 minutes in advance (1:30 am Central/2:30 am Eastern) on NASA+ and Firefly’s YouTube channel.

This is Firefly’s first lunar landing attempt. The spacecraft was launched on January 15 on the same rocket as ispace’s Venture Moon. The latter is on a different trajectory and will not land until the end of May or early June.
