FIRST ISS SPACEWALK TO REPAIR AMS, Nov 15, 2019, Earth orbit, 5:30 am ET (webcast)

NASA astronaut Drew Morgan and ESA astronaut Luca Parmitano will conduct at least four spacewalks to repair the Alpha Magnetic Spectrometer-02 (AMS-02), a particle physics detector that is attached to the International Space Station (ISS).

The first will take place on November 15, 2019.  It will be broadcast on NASA TV and NASA Live beginning at 5:30 am ET.

The dates for the others are TBD, but are expected by the end of 2019.

(The AMS first flew on a June 1998 space shuttle mission.)
