GLOBAL EXPLORATION ROADMAP-LUNAR SURFACE EXPL SCENARIO UPDATE (IAF), Oct 28, 2020, virtual, 14:00-14:30 CET

Update, October 26: An email from IAF today states that the time zone is CET, not CEST, so it will begin at 9:00 am EDT, and adjusts its duration to 30 minutes instead of 45 minutes.

Original Entry:

The International Astronautical Federation (IAF) will hold one of its Global Networking Forum (GNF) “space conversations” on October 28, 2020.

The website says it is at 14:00-14:45 Central European Summer Time (CEST), which would be 8:00-8:45 am Eastern Daylight Time.

However, some locations in Europe will have gone back to Central European Time (CET) by October 28, which would be 9:00-9:45 am EDT instead. We assume the event organizers know which time zone is correct for wherever this event originates, but the time zone converters we’ve consulted on the web all say Paris, where IAF is located, will be on CET.

The topic is:

“GLOBAL EXPLORATION ROADMAP – SUPPLEMENT AUGUST 2020, LUNAR SURFACE EXPLORATION SCENARIO UPDATE”

The speaker is Naoki Sato, Manager, Human Spaceflight Technology Directorate, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).

More information is on the event’s website.
