The National Space Club will hold an outdoor reception at the Washington Nationals baseball stadium in Washington, DC on October 22, 2021 from 6:00-9:00 pm ET to honor its 2020 and 2021 award recipients.  The reception is in lieu of the traditional Goddard Memorial Dinners — or “space proms” — that had to be cancelled both years because of COVID.  (The 2022 dinner is currently scheduled for March 18, 2022 at its usual venue, the Washinton Hilton hotel.)

National Space Club’s Goddard Memorial Awards Reception

The National Space Club and Foundation is pleased to announce they will hold an outdoor event to honor the 2020 and 2021 National Space Club Awardees. The 64th Annual Dr. Robert H Goddard Memorial Awards Reception will be held on Friday, October 22nd from 6:00pm – 9:00pm at the Washington Nationals Ballpark.

This special outdoor event will bring together experts from across the aerospace and defense industry, government and academia, but attendance will be limited to approximately 1,000 guests. During this event, awards will be presented to several exceptional individuals for their accomplishments in spaceflight, engineering, science, management and education.
