GOES-T PRE-LAUNCH BRIEFING, Feb 26, 2022, virtual, 1:00 pm ET

NASA will hold a virtual pre-launch briefing on February 26, 2022 at 1:00 pm ET for the upcoming launch of NOAA’s GOES-T weather satellite. The launch is scheduled for 4:38 pm ET on March 1 (a science briefing will take place on February 25).

GOES-T will be renamed GOES-18 once it is in its assigned position in geostationary orbit.

Participants in the pre-launch briefing are:

• John Gagosian, director, Joint Agency Satellite Division, Science Mission Directorate, NASA
• Tim Dunn, launch director, NASA’s Launch Services Program, NASA Kennedy
• Scott Messer, program manager, NASA Launch Services, United Launch Alliance
• Jessica Williams, launch weather officer, 45th Weather Squadron, Space Launch Delta 45
