Original Entry: The Space and Aeronautics Subcommittee of the House Science, Space, and Technology Committee will hold a hearing on February 14, 2024 at 10:00 am ET in 2318 Rayburn House Office Building.
The topic is: “ISS and Beyond: The Present and Future of American Low-Earth Orbit Activities.”
Witnesses are:
- Mr. Kenneth Bowersox, Associate Administrator, Space Operations Mission Directorate, NASA (and former astronaut)
- Dr. Mary Lynne Dittmar, Chief Government and External Relations Officer, Axiom Space
- Mr. Dylan Taylor, Chairman and CEO, Voyager Space
Axiom Space and Voyager Space are two of the three companies working with NASA to build commercial space stations to succeed ISS when it is decommissioned around 2030. The first ISS module was launched in 1998.
