Original Entry: The Environment Subcommittee of the House Science, Space, and Technology (SS&T) Committee will hold a hearing on the FY2025 budget request for NOAA on June 4, 2024 at 10:00 am ET in 2318 Rayburn House Office Building.
The hearing will be webcast on the committee’s website.
The sole witness iis Rick Spinrad, Under Secretary of Commerce for Oceans and Atmosphere and Administrator of NOAA.
NOAA operates the nation’s weather and space weather satellites and is home to the Office of Space Commerce that regulates commercial remote sensing satellites and is developing space situational awareness tools to warn civil and commercial satellite operators of potential collisions.
