HOW SHOULD SPACE TECHNOLOGIES AND DATA SUPPORT LOCAL COMMUNITIES? (SWF), Oct 8, 2018, DC, 5:00-7:00 pm ET

The Secure World Foundation (SWF) and Arizona State University (ASU) will hold a panel discussion on October 8, 2018 from 5:00-7:00 pm ET at the ASU Barrett and O’Connor Washington Center, 1800 Eye Street, N.W., Washington, DC on “How Should Space Technologies and Data Support Local Communities?”

Speakers are:

  • Krystal Wilson, Director of Space Applications Programs, SWF
  • Caroline Mwongera, Farming Systems and Climate Change Scientist, International Center for Tropical Agriculture
  • Kevin Horn, USAID GeoCenter
  • Timiebi Aganaba-Jeanty, Assistant Professor, ASU School for the Future of Innovation in Society (moderator)
