The International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) will hold the 6th IAA Planetary Defense Conference at The Hotel at the University of Maryland, 7777 Baltimore Ave., College Park, MD.

NASA Administrator Jim Bridenstine is scheduled to make the keynote address at 9:20 am ET on April 29.
The event will be livestreamed.
Note that on May 1 at 7:00 pm ET, NASA Chief Scientist Jim Green, Planetary Society CEO Bill Nye, and other experts will participate in a panel discussion that will be livestreamed at a different website.
A media workshop will precede the conference on Sunday, April 28, from 3:00-6:00 pm ET. Media must sign up in advance by contacting lajuan.moore@nasa.gov by Friday, April 26.
