INTERNATIONAL MOON DAY AT IMPERIAL COLLEGE LONDON, July 20, 2022, London, UK/virtual, 9:00 am-12:00 pm ET

Imperial College London will hold an International Moon Day event on July 20, 2022.  It will take place in-person at Imperial College London’s South Kensington Campus and online from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm EDT.

The agenda — with times in British Summer Time (not GMT) — and a registration link are posted on the event’s website and includes:

  • Bhavya Lal, NASA Associate Administrator for Technology, Policy and Strategy,
  • Jim Bridenstine, former NASA Administrator, and
  • Mike Gold, Redwire Executive Vice President for Civil Space & External Affairs (former NASA Associate Administrator for Space Policy and Partnerships)

The United Nations declared July 20 as International Moon Day in December 2021 to annually commemorate the first landing on the Moon by humans (Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin) on July 20, 1969.
