We are delighted to announce that the 16th International Symposium on Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Automation in Space (i-SAIRAS 2024) will be held in Brisbane, Australia from 19-21 November 2024. The theme for i-SAIRAS 2024 is New Frontiers: Harnessing AI, Automation and Robotics for Space Exploration and Earth’s Challenges. Hosted by Australia’s national science agency, CSIRO, this in-person event will mark the first time that this international symposium will be hosted in Australia in its 25-year history. We invite submissions on topics including, but not limited to, AI for exploration, service robotics, sensing, autonomy, sustainable technologies, human-robot collaboration, In-Situ Resource Utilisation (ISRU), analogues and systems interoperability. i-SAIRAS 2024 will feature special sessions focussing on space-Earth technology transfer to explore how space technology can help address important challenges on Earth, and how terrestrial innovations can advance new solutions in space. The deadline for abstract submission is 3 June 2024 (https://www.isairas2024.org/abstracts). There are also a range of sponsorship and exhibition opportunities available as well (https://www.isairas2024.org/sponsors). We look forward to your participation in i-SAIRAS 2024!
