ISS R&D Pre-Conference Events, July 2017, DC

The annual International Space Station Research and Development (ISSR&D) conference will be held July 18-20, 2017 at the Omni Sheraton Hotel, 2500 Calvert St., NW, Washington, DC.

Pre-conference events take place at the same venue on July 17.  They include:

• Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC)/American Astronautical Society (AAS) Next Generation Workshop (9:00 am – 3:00 pm ET)
• ISS Opportunity Workshop for New and Future Users, 1:00-3:00 pm ET
• Evolution of ISS Research and he Role of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine (3:15-5:15 om ET)
• JAXA/NASA Joint Workshop:  Maximizing the Outcome of the ISS and Kibo [Japan’s ISS science module] (5:15-6:00 pm ET)
• Evening Reception (6:00–8:00 pm ET)
