ISS SPACEWALK BY KIMBROUGH AND PESQUET (1 of 2), June 16, 2021, Earth orbit, 8:00 am ET

NASA astronaut Shane Kimbrough and ESA astronaut Thomas Pesquet will conduct two spacewalks at the International Space Station on June 16 and June 20, 2021 to install new solar panels that unroll and will be installed in front of six of the eight existing arrays and use the same power system to augment the amount of energy produced by the arrays.

The first pair of ISS Roll-Out Solar Arrays (IROSAs) was delivered to the ISS on the SpaceX-22 cargo mission.

Both spacewalks will begin about 8:00 am ET. NASA TV coverage begins at 6:30 am ET.
