ISU-DC SPACE CAFE WITH SARAH YEOMANS ON ASTRONOMY IN ANTIQUITY, Feb 13, 2018, DC, 7:00 pm ET

The International Space University-US Alumni Association’s Washington, DC chapter (ISU-DC) will hold its next Space Cafe on February 13, 2018 at Cotton & Reed, 1330 5th St. NE, Washington, DC at 7:00 pm ET.

The speaker is Sarah Yeomans, Professor of Religious Studies at West Virginia University and Director of Educational Programs at the Biblical Archaeology Society, who will speak on “Astronomy in Antiquity: Celestial Shenanigans and How They Altered Human History.”

The International Space University-US Alumni Association’s Washington, DC Chapter presents monthly Space Cafes!  These events bring together prominent experts on space, ISU alumni, the space community, and the interested public in a casual forum that encourages interaction and discussion.

The Space Cafes begin at 7pm and are hosted by the Cotton & Reed, located at 1330 5th Street, NE, Washington, DChttps://www.cottonandreed.com/home.
