JAXA LAUNCH OF QZS-7, Aug 6, 2026 EDT, Tanegashima, Japan, 3:30 pm EDT (Aug 7, 04:30 JST)

Following the successful H3 test launch on June 11, 2026 EDT, which verified changes made after the December 22, 2025 failure that doomed the QZS-5 navigation satellite, JAXA is now planning the launch of QZS-7 at 04:30 on August 7, 2026 Japan Standard Time (August 6, 3:30 pm EDT).  The launch window that day extends to 06:00.
