LAUNCH AND DOCKING OF CREW-13 TO THE ISS, October 1, 2026, CCSFS, 11:10 am ET/8:00 pm ET

Update, September 22:  NASA confirms the launch is scheduled for October 1, 2026 at 11:10 am ET, weather permitting.  Live NASA coverage begins at 9:20 am ET. Check NASA Live for the link to the livestream.

If the launch takes place that day, docking will be about 9 hours later at 8:00 pm ET.

Update, September 21: unofficial reports indicate October 1 is the target date. NASA has not said anything, but it fits with the 14-day quarantine period so we are changing our placeholder date to that, but it is still just a placeholder.

Update, September 17: The crew has entered quarantine, usually a 14-day pre-launch period, but does not necessarily mean they’ll launch 14 days later.

Update, September 16:  NASA now says the launch will be “as soon as early October.”  We’re using October 3 as a placeholder, but that’s all it is, not a date announced by NASA.

Update, September 2:  NASA says: “NASA’s SpaceX Crew-13 mission now is targeted to launch no earlier than late September to the International Space Station. A new target launch date will be shared once confirmed.”   [We’re randomly choosing September 25 as a placeholder for the purpose of keeping it on this Calendar.]

Update, August 29:  NASA said today that the launch will slip because of an oxidizer leak on Crew Dragon’s propulsion system detected during prelaunch processing. A new date will be announced when available.

Original Entry: NASA and SpaceX are targeting no earlier than (NET) September 12, 2026 at 6:30 pm ET for the launch of Crew-13 to the International Space Station from SpaceX’s Space Launch Complex-40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

The crew is:

• Luke Delaney, NASA, pilot
• Joshua Kutryk, Canadian Space Agency, mission specialist
• Sergey Teteryatnikov, Roscosmos, mission specialist
