LAUNCH OF JAXA’S HTV-9 CARGO SHIP TO ISS, May 20, 2020, 1:30 pm EDT (May 21, 2:30 am JST), Tanegashima, Japan

The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) is scheduled to launch its next HTV cargo spacecraft, HTV-9 or Kounotori-9, to the International Space Station on May 21, 2020 at 2:30 am Japan Standard Time (JST), which is May 20, 2020 at 1:30 pm Eastern Daylight Time, from Tanegashima, Japan.

NASA TV coverage begins at 1:00 pm EDT.

If launch takes place as planned, it will arrive at the ISS on May 25, with capture at 8:15 am EDT.  NASA TV coverage of rendezvous and capture begins at 6:45 am ET.
