Update, June 24: The launch date has slipped to July 22 at 9:30 am ET due to ground support equipment issues.
Original Entry: The launch of NASA’s Mars Perseverance rover (formerly Mars 2020) is currently scheduled for July 20, 2020, a three day slip from the original date (July 17) because of a processing issue for the United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket (the crane needed to lift the rocket onto its transporter broke).
The launch window officially is open through August 11, although a NASA official said that additional analysis suggests it could remain open through August 15.
The Atlas V launch will take place from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS), Florida.
