LAUNCH OF NG-17 CYGNUS CARGO MISSION TO ISS, Feb 19, 2022, Wallops Island, VA, 12:40 pm ET

Northrop Grumman will launch its next cargo mission to the International Space Station, NG-17, from the Wallops Flight Facility on Wallops Island, VA on February 19, 2022 at 12:40 pm ET.

Live launch coverage on NASA Television and the agency’s website, as well as YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, and NASA’s App, begins at 12:15 p.m.

Northrop Grumman names each Cygnus spacecraft after a deceased individiul who played an important role in the ISS program.  This one is named for the late astronaut Piers Sellers who participated in three ISS construction missions.

If launch takes place as scheduled, the spacecraft will arrive at the ISS on February 21, with capture by Canadarm2 at about 4:35 am ET.
