NASA coverage begins September 11 at 11:15 am ET for the 12:23 pm ET launch.
Soyuz MS-26 will dock at the ISS about three hours later at 3:33 pm ET. NASA coverage of rendezvous and docking begins at 2:30 pm ET.
NASA coverage of hatch opening (5:50 pm ET) and welcome remarks begins 5:30 pm ET.
Update, August 31: The launch is scheduled for September 11 at 12:23 pm ET (9:23 pm local time at the launch site). The crew members are:
- Aleksey Ovchinin, Roscosmos
- Ivan Vagner, Roscosmos
- Don Pettit, NASA
Original Entry: Russia will launch the next Soyuz crew, Soyuz MS-26, to the International Space Station on September 11, 2024 according to a “tweet” from Russian space enthuasist Katya Pavlushchenko who follows the Russian space program closely from Moscow.
Other details are TBD.
Roscosmos published #SoyuzMS26 emblem. The ship will be launched from Baikonur on September 11 with Aleksey Ovchinin, Ivan Vagner and Donald Pettit, and it is planned to dock on the same day to Rassvet nadir docking port.
