LAUNCH OF USSF-12, July 1, 2022, Cape Canaveral, FL, 6:00 pm ET

Update, June 3o: The launch was scrubbed due to weather. They plan to try again tomorrow, July 1. Same time.

Update, June 27:  ULA now says the 2-hour launch window opens at 6:00 pm ET, but the weather forecast is now down to 60 percent favorable instead of 70 percent.

Original Entry: The United Launch Alliance (ULA) will launch the U.S. Space Force (USSF)-12 mission on June 30, 2022 from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, FL.

ULA will webcast the launch.

A June 26 email from ULA says the weather is 70% favorable and the launch time will be announced “closer to launch.”

Everything continues to progress towards the ULA Atlas V launch carrying the USSF-12 mission for the U.S. Space Force. The mission is planned to lift off on Thurs., June 30 from Space Launch Complex-41 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. The launch time will be released closer to launch. Today’s forecast shows a 70 percent chance of favorable weather conditions for launch.
