The Information Technology and Information Forum (ITIF) will hold an event on November 13, 2018 from 10:00-11:30 am ET at its offices at 1101 K Street, NW, Suite 610A, Washington, DC.
ITIF will release a report surveying developments in making more spectrum available for terrestrial 5G communications services in part by reallocating C-band spectrum currently assigned to satellites. “The question of how to effectively transition a portion of this spectrum from satellite distribution of television programming to wireless broadband looms large in spectrum policy today.”
