MILITARY STRATEGY AND LEADERSHIP (Council on Foreign Relations), May 13, 2024, virtual, 5:30/6:00 pm ET

The Council on Foreign Relations will hold an event on May 13, 2024 with the U.S. military service chiefs, including U.S. Space Force Chief of Space Operations Gen. B. Chance Saltzman, as part of the Robert B. McKeon Endowed Series on Military Strategy and Leadership. They will discuss “U.S. defense priorities around the world and the state of the American armed forces.”

More information is on the event’s website, which says those attending virtually who want to be able to ask questions should register and login information will be provided, although we don’t see a registration link there.

It also will be livestreamed on YouTube.

DOD’s “Today in DOD” email for May 13 says this will take place in Washington, D.C. at 6:00 pm ET. The YouTube site also says it begins at 6:00 pm ET. However, the CFR website does not indicate where it will take place and says it starts at 5:30 pm ET.  Another part of the CFR website says it’s a virtual meeting.  So the details are a little fuzzy, but watching it on YouTube at 6:00 pm ET seems a good bet.
