*Virtual Meeting Only* The March 12-13 NAC Science Committee Spring meeting now will be held as a virtual meeting only, due to the coronavirus. There will be no in-person meeting at NASA Headquarters.
Original Entry: The Science Committee of the NASA Advisory Council (NAC) will meet at NASA HQ in Washington, DC on March 12-13, 2020. The meeting on March 12 is 9:30 am – 4:15 pm ET and on March 13 is 8:30 am – 1:00 pm ET.

SUMMARY: In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act, as amended, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) announces a meeting of the Science Committee of the NASA Advisory Council (NAC). This Committee reports to the NAC. The meeting will be held for the purpose of soliciting, from the scientific community and other persons, scientific and technical information relevant to program planning. DATES: Thursday, March 12, 2020, 9:30 a.m.-4:15 p.m., and Friday, March 13, 2020, 8:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m., Eastern Time. ADDRESSES: NASA Headquarters, Room 5H41, 300 E Street SW, Washington, DC 20546. SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The meeting will be open to the public up to the capacity of the room. This meeting will also be available telephonically and by WebEx. The agenda for the meeting includes the following topics: -- Science Mission Directorate (SMD) Missions, Programs and Activities -- FY 2021 President's Budget Request for NASA SMD -- Moon to Mars Attendees will be requested to sign a register and to comply with NASA Headquarters security requirements, including the presentation of a valid picture ID to Security before access to NASA Headquarters. Foreign nationals attending this meeting will be required to provide a copy of their passport and visa in addition to providing the following information no less than 10 days prior to the meeting: Full name; gender; date/place of birth; citizenship; passport information (number, country, telephone); visa information (number, type, expiration date); employer/affiliation information (name of institution, address, country, telephone); title/position of attendee. To expedite admittance, U.S. citizens and Permanent Residents (green card holders) are requested to provide full name and citizenship status no less than 3 working days in advance. It is imperative that the meeting be held on these dates to the scheduling priorities of the key participants.
