UPDATE, March 21:  The Federal Government in the DC area is closed today because of snow.  Thus, today’s meeting of the Science Committee will take place by telecon only.

Original Entry: The Science Committee of the NASA Advisory Council (NAC) will meet March 20-21, 2018 at NASA Headquarters in Washington, DC.  The meeting on March 20 is 8:30 am – 5:00 pm ET and on March 21 is 9:30 am – 12:45 pm ET.

The meeting is available via WebEx and telecon by following the instructions in the Federal Register notice, which is reproduced below.

SUMMARY: In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act, as 
amended, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) 
announces a meeting of the Science Committee of the NASA Advisory 
Council (NAC). This Committee reports to the NAC. The meeting will be 
held for the purpose of soliciting, from the scientific community and 
other persons, scientific and technical information relevant to program 

DATES: Tuesday, March 20, 2018, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; and Wednesday, 
March 21, 2018, 9:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m., Local Time.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The meeting will be open to the public up to 
the capacity of the room. This meeting will also be available

    Attendees will be requested to sign a register and to comply with 
NASA Headquarters security requirements, including the presentation of 
a valid picture ID to Security before access to NASA Headquarters. 
Foreign nationals attending this meeting will be required to provide a 
copy of their passport and visa in addition to providing the following 
information no less than 10 days prior to the meeting: Full name; 
gender; date/place of birth; citizenship; passport information (number, 
country, telephone); visa information (number, type, expiration date); 
employer/affiliation information (name of institution, address, 
country, telephone); title/position of attendee. To expedite 
admittance, attendees that are U.S. citizens and Permanent Residents
