NAC SCIENCE COMMITTEE, Nov 28-29, 2017, NASA HQ, DC (WebEx/telecon)

The NASA Advisory Council Science Committee will meet November 28-29, 2017 at NASA HQ in Washington, DC.

On November 27, NASA updated the start time of the meeting on November 28.  It is now 9:30 am ET rather than 8:30 am.  The day’s meeting will still end at 5:00 pm ET.  The meeting on November 29 is 8:30 am – 12:00 pm ET.

The meeting will be available remotely by WebEx/telecon by following the instructions on the agenda and in the Federal Register notice, which is reproduced below.

 

SUMMARY: In accordance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act, as 
amended, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) 
announces a meeting of the Science Committee of the NASA Advisory 
Council (NAC). This Committee reports to the NAC. The meeting will be 
held for the purpose of soliciting, from the scientific community and 
other persons, scientific and technical information relevant to program 
planning.

DATES:  Tuesday, November 28, 2017, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m.; and Wednesday, 
November 29, 2017, 8:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m., Local Time.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The meeting will be open to the public up to 
the capacity of the room. This meeting will also be available 
telephonically and by WebEx. You must use a touch-tone phone to

Attendees will be requested to sign a register and to comply with NASA 
Headquarters security requirements, including the presentation of a 
valid picture ID to Security before access to NASA Headquarters. 
Foreign nationals attending this meeting will be required to provide a 
copy of their passport and visa in addition to providing the following 
information no less than 10 days prior to the meeting: Full name; 
gender; date/place of birth; citizenship; passport information (number, 
country, telephone); visa information (number, type, expiration date); 
employer/affiliation information (name of institution, address, 
country, telephone); title/position of attendee. To expedite 
admittance, attendees that are U.S. citizens and Permanent Residents 
(green card holders) are requested to provide full name and citizenship
