NASA/BOEING UPDATE ON REVIEWS OF THE STARLINER ORBITAL FLIGHT TEST (OFT), Mar 6, 2020, virtual, 11:00 am ET

NASA and Boeing will provide an update on the reviews of the problems that developing during the December 20-22, 2019 Orbital Flight Test (OFT) of Boeing’s CST-100 Starliner commercial crew spacecraft.
No one was aboard for this test flight, which experiences two significant software anomalies and a communications issue that are being studied by a joint NASA/Boeing Independent Review Team (IRT). NASA is deciding whether the uncrewed orbital flight test must be repeated or if Boeing may move forward to the next step, a crewed flight test.
The update will be via a media teleconference at 11:00 am ET on March 6, 2020. Audio will be available on NASA Live. Participants are:
- Douglas Loverro, associate administrator of NASA’s Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate
- Jim Chilton, senior vice president at Boeing Space and Launch
- Kathy Lueders, manager of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program
- John Mulholland, vice president and manager of Boeing’s CST-100 Starliner Program
