NASA BRIEFING ON UPCOMING SPACEWALKS, Mar 19, 2019, JSC, 2:00 pm ET (NASA TV)

NASA will hold a press briefing on March 19, 2019 at 2:00 pm ET at NASA Johnson Space Center to preview the first two of three upcoming spacewalks from the International Space Station.  The briefing will air on NASA TV and NASA Live.

Briefing participants are:

• Kenneth Todd, International Space Station manager for Operations and Integration
• Mary Lawrence, spacewalk flight director
• Jacklyn Kagey, lead spacewalk officer

The first two spacewalks are scheduled for March 22 and March 29. A separate briefing on the third spacewalk will take place closer to the date of that spacewalk (April 8).

The March 22 spacewalk will be conducted by NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Nick Hague.

The March 29 spacewalk features the first all-female spacewalk, with NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Christina Koch.

The April 8 spacewalk will be conducted by NASA astronaut Nick Hague and Canadian Space Agency astronaut David Saint-Jacques.
