NASA BROADCAST OF FINAL ORION PARACHUTE TEST, Sept 12, 2018, Yuma, AZ, 10:15 am ET

NASA will broadcast the final test of the parachute system for the Orion spacecraft at 10:15 am ET on September 12, 2018.  The test will take place at the Yuma Proving Ground in Arizona.

An Orion test capsule will be dropped from a C-17 aircraft at an altitude of more than 6 miles to verify the spacecraft’s system of 11 parachutes.

The test will be broadcast on NASA TV and livestreamed on the agency’s NASA Live website and the Orion Facebook page.
