NASA ISS SPACEWALK 96 (1st of 3), Aug 6, 2026, Earth Orbit, 8:35 am ET (coverage begins 7:00 am ET))

NASA astronauts will conduct three spacewalks in August 2026, numbers 96, 97, and 98.  NASA’s press release provides information about what the astronauts will do.

As of July 31, NASA has officially announced the spacewalk crew members only for spacewalk 96 (Jessica Meir and Anil Menon), but during a NASA briefing on July 30 , Jessica Meir and ESA’s Sophie Adenot were identified in a video as the crew members for spacewalk 98.

Information as of July 31 is:

• Spacewalk 96: August 6, Jessica Meir and Anil Menon, beginning at 8: 35 am ET.  NASA’s live coverage begins at 7:00 am ET on  Amazon Prime, X , YouTube, NASA+
