NASA MEDIA TELECON INTRODUCING NEW NASA CHIEF SCIENTIST KATE CALVIN, Jan 11, 2022, virtual, 11:00 am ET

NASA Administrator Bill Nelson will introduce NASA’s new chief scientist, Katherine (Kate) Calvin, during a media teleconference on January 11, 2022 at 11:00 am ET.

Audio of the teleconference will stream live on the agency’s website.

Calvin will be dual-hatted as Chief Scientist, succeeding Jim Green who retired, and Senior Climate Advisor, succeeding Gavin Schmidt who returns to his position as head of the Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS).
