NASA MEDIA TELECON ON NEW “TIPPING POINT” TECHNOLOGY PARTNERSHIPS, Aug 8, 2018, virtual, 3:00 pm ET

NASA will hold a media teleconference at 3:00 pm ET on August 8, 2018 to announce new public-private partnerships to develop commercial space capabilities and benefit future NASA exploration missions.  They are part of the Space Technology Mission Directorate’s (STMD’s) “Tipping Point” program that focuses on maturing technologies where “an investment in a ground or flight demonstration will result in significantly maturing the technology and improves the company’s ability to bring to market.”

NASA’s Acting Associate Administrator for STMD, Jim Reuter, will participate in the telecon which will be aired on NASA Live.
