NASA MEDIA TELECON ON PUNCH MISSION, Feb 4, 2025, virtual, 2:00 pm ET

NASA will hold a media telecon on February 4, 2025 at 2:00 pm ET to discuss the upcoming launch of the Polarimeter to Unify the Corona and Heliosphere — PUNCH — mission.  Audio will stream on NASA Live.

Participants are:

·      Madhulika Guhathakurta, NASA program scientist, NASA Headquarters

·      Nicholeen Viall, PUNCH mission scientist, NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center

·      Craig DeForest, PUNCH principal investigator, Southwest Research Institute

Launch of the constellation of four satellites is scheduled for No Earlier Than (NET) February 27, 2025.  PUNCH is sharing a ride with NASA’s SPHEREx mission on a Falcon 9 from Vandenberg.

NASA is holding a news conference on SPHEREx on January 31.
