Update, November 18, 5:00 pm ET: NASA just announced that the Mission Management Team is still meeting and the briefing is delayed at least untl 5:30 pm ET.
Original Entry: NASA will hold a news conference on November 17, 2022 at 5:00 pm ET to preview the arrival of the Orion spacecraft into lunar orbit as part of the Artemis I mission.
Orion will enter a Distant Retrograde Orbit around the Moon. On Monday, November 21, Orion will make a powered flyby of the Moon coming as close as 80 miles of the surface and four days later make another burn to put it into DRO where it will remain for about a week.
The news conference will air on NASA Television, the agency’s website, and the NASA app.
