NASA PRE-LAUNCH BRIEFING FOR PACE EARTH OBSERVATION SATELLITE, Feb 5, 2024, KSC/virtual, 9:00 am ET

NASA’s Plankton, Aerosol, Cloud, ocean Ecosystem (PACE) earth observation satellite is scheduled for launch on February 6, 2024 at 1:33 am from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, FL. In addition to launch coverage, NASA will hold several science and pre-launch briefings on February 4 and February 5.
The pre-launch briefing on February 5 is at 9:00 am with the following participants:
- NASA Associate Administrator Jim Free
- Karen St. Germain, director, Earth Science Division, NASA
- Tim Dunn, senior launch director, Launch Services Program, NASA
- Julianna Scheiman, director, Civil Satellite Missions, SpaceX
- Brian Cizek, launch weather officer, 45th Weather Squadron, U.S. Space Force
It will air on NASA+ and NASA TV.
