NASA SCIENCE BRIEFING FOR ASTROBOTIC’S PEREGRINE CLPS MISSION, Jan 4, 2024, 11:00 am ET, virtual

NASA will hold a science briefing in advance of the launch of Astrobotic’s Peregrine lunar lander, which is part of the NASA’s Commercial Lunar Payload Services (CLPS) program. Peregrine will deliver science payloads to the lunar surface for NASA as well as payloads for non-NASA customers. A full list is on Astrobotic’s website. The launch is scheduled on January 8, 2024 on the first flight of the United Launch Alliance’s (ULA’s) Vulcan rocket, which it designates “Cert-1” — the first “certification” flight for future DOD launches.
NASA’s science briefing is on January 4, 2024 at 11:00 am ET via WebEx and will be livestreamed at https://www.nasa.gov/nasatv.
