NASA SCIENCE, ENGINEERING BRIEFINGS FOR LUCY MISSION, Oct 14, 2021, 1:00 and 3:00 pm ET

NASA will a “Live Lucy Rollout Show” on NASA Edge at 10:00 am ET on October 14 for the Lucy mission to the Trojan asteroids, which is scheduled for launch on October 16.

That will be followed at 1:00 pm ET by a science briefing and at 3:00 pm ET by an engineering briefing. (Other briefings are taking place on October 13 and October 15 in addition to live launch coverage on October 16.  See the separate calendar entries for those events.)

• Dennis Reuter, principal investigator for Lucy’s L’Ralph instrument, Goddard.

Participants in the 3:00 pm ET engineering briefing are:

• Joan Salute, associate director for flight programs, Planetary Science Division, NASA Headquarters.
• Jessica Lounsbury, Lucy project systems engineer, Goddard.
