NASA TV COVERAGE OF ORION’S RETURN POWERED FLYBY, Dec 5, 2022, JSC, begins 9:00 am ET

NASA will provide live coverage of Orion’s second engine burn to depart the Moon and head back to Earth  — the Return Powered Flyby — on December 5, 2022 beginning at 9:00 am ET.

The burn will take place at 11:43 am ET.

A news conference will take place at Johnson Space Center at 5:00 pm ET with:

• Mike Sarafin, Artemis mission manager, NASA Headquarters
• Judd Frieling, flight director, NASA Johnson
• Debbie Korth, Orion Program deputy manager, NASA Johnson
• Melissa Jones, landing and recovery director, NASA Kennedy Space Center

It will air on NASA Television, the agency’s website, and the NASA app.
