Natl Acad CMTE TO REVIEW NASA’S PLANETARY PROTECTION INDEPENDENT REVIEW BOARD (PPIRB) RPT, Nov 20-22, 2019, DC (available remotely)

The first meeting of the National Academy of Sciences Engineering, and Medicine Committee to Review the Report of the NASA Planetary Protection Independent Review Board (PPIRB) will take place November 20-22, 2019 at the Keck Center, 500 5th St, NW, Washington, DC.   Some sessions are open and others are closed each day.

Open sessions will be available remotely via Zoom.  Instructions are on the agenda.

The committee is chaired by Joe Alexander, who chaired an earlier Academies report on this topic — modernizing international planetary protection guidelines.
