NEW SHEPARD 25 (NS-25) LAUNCH WITH PASSENGERS (Blue Origin), May 19, 2024, West Texas, 9:30 am ET

Blue Origin will launch its New Shepard rocket on May 19, 2024 from its suborbital launch site in West Texas on the NS-25 mission.

This is the first launch of a New Shepard with passengers since August 2022.  A failure in September 2022 on a mission, NS-23, that did not carry people, only experiments, grounded the vehicle until December 2023 when another uncrewed flight took place.

Liftoff is targeted for 8:30 am CENTRAL Time (9:30 am ET) although the actual launch time often varies by minutes or hours because of weather or last minute techical glitches.  Blue Origin will webcast the launch on its website starting 40 minutes before launch.

Blue Origin released the names of the six passengers on April 4.
