NEW SHEPARD NS-37 (Blue Origin), Dec 20, 2025, West Texas, 9:15 am ET (webcast)

Update: the launch was rescheduled for December 20 at 9:15 am ET.

Update December 18, 12:00 pm:  The launch proceeded to T-2 minutes, but then scrubbed “after the launch team observed an issue with our built-in checks prior to the flight. We are assessing our next opportunity for launch.”


Update, December 18, 9:30 am ET:  Blue Origin now says the window opens at 10:00 am CENTRAL time, which is 11:oo am Eastern.

 

Original Entry: Blue Origin will launch its next New Shepard flight, NS-37, on December 18, 2025 from its launch site in West Texas.  The launch window opens at 8:30 am CENTRAL Time (9:30 am Eastern).  The launch will be webcast on the company’s website beginning 40 minutes before liftoff.

The six passengers include Hans Koenigsmann, for two decades a top SpaceX official (Vice President of Build and Reliability), who is accompanying Michi Benthaus, an ESA engineer who will become the first person to fly to space who is confined to a wheelchair. She suffered a spinal cord injury in a mountain biking accident in 2018.
