NOT SO HIDDEN FIGURES: WHAT WOMEN WHO’VE CONQUERED SPACE CAN TEACH SILICON VALLEY (New America), Dec 11, 2018, DC, 12:00-1:30 pm ET

New America, Slate, and Arizona State University through their Future Tense partnership will hold a discussion on December 11, 2018 from 12:00-1:30 pm ET on “Not So Hidden Figures: What the Women Who’ve Conquered Space Can Teach Silicon Valley.”  The event will take place at New America’s offices at 740 15th St., NW, Suite 900, Washington, DC.

Speakers are:

  • Cady Coleman, former NASA astronaut
  • Ellen Stofan, Director, National Air and Space Museum (and former NASA Chief Scientist)
  • Lindy Elkins-Tanton, Director, School of Earth and Space Exploration, Arizona State University
  • Liza Mundy, Senior Fellow, New America, and author of Code Girls: The Untold Story of American Women Codebreakers of World War II (moderator)
